1. Civil/Structural Engineer (Offshore)

Description: The successful candidate will be able to independently apply extensive
knowledge of principles and practices in assigned areas and related fields involved
in structural analysis and design as required for the design of offshore structures.


In addition, the candidate will be able to use advanced techniques and sound
fundamentals to develop efficient designs, analyze complex configurations and
resolve technical issues.


Duties will include some or all of the following:


• Lay out, analyze, and design modular structures

• Perform tasks necessary to ensure complete structural designs including:

Developing wind, wave, and seismic loads

Developing soil investigation inquiries and interpret resulting reports

Preparing project specifications from standard specifications and

Directing field verification and information gathering trips.

• Direct structural engineering activities for small or medium size projects
or a portion of major projects including:

Providing design criteria, philosophies and guidance to the structural project
team

Reviewing project deliverable documents for completeness and accuracy and

Reviewing, checking and approving structural design drawings.

• Applying a comprehensive knowledge of the codes and specifications that
govern civil and structural work (e.g. API, AISC, ABS, DNV, and NORSOK.)

• Technical execution of the engineering to properly size, specify, purchase
and install a complete and operating electrical system that meets the Client
requirements.

• Coordination of communications between the project team, the engineering
and design team members to assure quality of work, and that consistent technical
content drawing / design packages are maintained throughout a project.

• Creation and management of the electrical scope of work for the project

• Sizing of overall electrical system

• Specification, selection and purchase of all Electrical equipment to
meet the performance criteria

• Integrate packaged equipment into overall system design

• Oversee development of detailed design drawings including One-lines,
Plans, Details, Wiring diagrams and Fabrication Drawings
